Stitched Be Mine Happy St. Patrick’s Day Card
If you follow me, you know I currently have 2 beautiful grandchildren whom I love to create sweet projects for, and I didn’t want to wait until the last minute to create them some St. Patrick’s Day Card, so I got started today.
I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which was scored at 4-1/4″. Next up, I added a 5-3/8″ X 4-1/8″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock as my first layer.
I stamped a piece of 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink and the Buffalo Check Stamp Set. Next, I cut the stamped image with the largest Stitched Rectangle Dies and added it to my project.
I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out two hearts (I used the largest heart in the die set) with Garden Green Cardstock and Gold Glimmer Paper. I added one of each piece from the heart dies to my project (so I will get two cards from the heart pieces), and adhered them with my Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
I tied a double Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon Bow and added it with some Mini Glue Dots. I had previously used my Detailed Heart Die with some Basic Black Cardstock, and saved all the little heart pieces out of this die, and so I decided to use one of the heart die-cut pieces on my bow
I stamped the sentiment from the A Wish For All Stamp Set on a piece of Basic Black Cardstock I ran my Embossing Buddy over the cardstock, stamped with my Versamark Ink Pad, and sprinkled Some Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder over it, then heat embossed it with my Heat Tool. I used my Silicone Craft Mat under the cardstock to protect my work surface. I cut the sentiment into a 3/8″ X 3-1/2″, and then laid it over a piece of 1/2″ X 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock with some Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.
