Poinsettia Fun Fold
I like how this Poinsettia Petals Christmas card turned out. I also like how simple it is to create and I’m going to share that with you today.
I cut my Thick Whisper White Cardstock at 4-1/4″ x 7-1/2″, scored at 3-3/4″ on the 7-1/2″ side.
I cut a 4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of the Poinsettia Petals Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the Thick Whisper White cardstock base.
I used a 5-1/2 x 5″ piece of Whisper and the Poinsettia Dies to cut out my flower.
Next, I cut the largest of the Layering Circles scalloped Die with some Whisper White Cardstock. I then used the largest of the Stitched Shapes Dies using some Garden Green Cardstock. I only added my Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive to the bottom of the cut circle onto my card base as shown above.
Using Crushed Curry Cardstock I cut out the frillies and the center of the poinsettia flower.
I used the Take Your Pick Tool to gently fold the centers of every petal. I then added my petals from largest to smallest onto my project with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set with Soft Suede Classic Ink onto a 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I added the sentiment with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.
That’s it, you’re done. I think this type of card looks quite striking, don’t you? I sure hope so.

Good idea to make small cards to send for a group like neighbours…Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Thank you, Carmella, the overall size is still 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, it just highlights whatever you add to the circle.
