Masculine Card

This is probably one of the hardest cards/ideas for me to make. A friend of mine's Daddy is in the hospital, so I made a card for him.  Here it is:

Masculine-1
I think the Well Worn Designer Series Paper is one of the best DSP's for maculine Cards.  I love the rich colors in the set.

I used Soft Suede as the base for this card cut at 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".  Then cut a piece of Well Worn Designer Series Paper, 4 1/4" X 2 1/2". added a touch to Tangerine Tango at 4 1/4" X 1", and then finally a piece of Not  Quite Navy which I cut at 4 1/4" X 2" (then embossed this piece with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder).  I embossed a piece of Soft Suede with our Designer Frames and punch out a piece of Very Vanilla with our Large Oval Punch (but first I stamped the Get Well sentiment from the Hand penned stamp set).  Added a couple of our fabulous Antique Trinket Brads to complete the look.  With a few dimensionals to the sentiment and added it to the card.

Masculine-2
Here is a close up of the hand stamped sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by, I truly appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to visit!  :-)

Until the next  time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised "tomorrow"!
