I saw this card on another blog (sorry, need to write it down next time and give specific credit), but I fell in love with it!
I used it to make this Sympathy Card and CASED it completely, why change a perfect thing, right?
You know I have a love/hate relationship with Sympathy cards. I love to make them, but hate to use them. This particular card I made for a very dear friend who's daddy passed away this past Monday. So Sad.
I wanted the card to express my sympathy and give her a the feeling of knowing she is loved and her family is being prayed for in this time of loss.
Used our Vintage Embossing Folder (one of my Favs), the Layered Labels Stamp Set, and our gorgeous matching Apothecary Arts Accents Dies, clear embossing powder (used our luscious new stamp pads to ink up on the card, now you can do lots and lots of colors), and used clear embossing powder to hold my color and give the card a nice finish. In addition I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
I used some white craft ink to "gently" rub over the embossed Expresso cardstock to give it a little pop and vintage feel.
Hope you like it and remember to look at my product shares, they won't be around for too much longer!
Until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised "tomorrow"!
