My favorite time of the year is Summer…….crazy right, since I live in Georgia where humidity is 100%? But really, who stays outdoors 100% of the Summertime anyway? I love the outdoors, especially when we swim in our pool, and play with our grandkids. Nothing, nothing is bettah! Those of you who are Grammy's know what I mean….wink…..wink…..:-)
Well, since it's officially Fall and my Stamp Club meets this Saturday, I decided on a Fall Project. You're probably saying, go figure, a Fall project smack dab in the middle of Fall, how creative is that Gloria! Ha!
Here is a picture of the pumpkin we will be making. I think it will look great as a Fall adornment the entire season long. You can place some real live pine cones around it (Lord knows we have enough of those around our 6 acres here in Georgia), or as your centerpiece for your next family get together. Anywho, it will certainly last for many, many seasons as long as you place it in a nice box to keep it from being crushed with all your other Fall goodies. Our cardstock is "very sturdy", so I know mine will last for years to come.
Albiet a little "time consuming", the finished product I think is well worth your time. My ladies are going to be happy I already scored and cut their cardstock to size, all they need to do is put it together, and embellish!
And yet another from the top. I hope you enjoyed our fun little project we will be making and come back to visit me again so I can show you what else I have in store for my upcoming classes.
In addition, I had a request for instructions on how to make my witches hat, and the Santa Goodies I showed you earlier. I am going to try my very best to make a video for each one. If the video stinks, I will post the instructions here for you to download and make at your leisure.
In fact, I would "love" to know what your preference is, written instructions or a video, or even both? Please let me know as your opinions matter greatly to me!
You’re Creative Stamping coach!
Until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised "tomorrow"!
