By the time you read this I will have already gone to my Bestie's home and had Thanksgiving Dinner with her family! We have no real family here in Georgia, so my sweet Forever Friend Mary C. invited my hubby, son and I over for Thanksgiving Dinner. I so appreciate her, she is always so thoughtful and invites anyone and everyone would either spend Thanksgiving alone,eating out, etc. She has a heart of GOLD!
So, I made this little gift as a "small" Thank You for her amazing friendship and "love"!
It's charger plate that I've "dolled up". The original idea came from a fellow Demo, Jill Olson, so stinkin' creative isn't she?!
Some close ups of the fabulous new die in the Holiday Catalog to make the leaf cutting easy peasy and I can run up to 4 layers of cardstock at a time to make this fabulously quick! That gorgeous "Brass Button" is also in our Holiday Catalog….love them!
How about all that glimmer? Love our fabulous Champagne Glimmer Paper in our Holiday Catalog (see a theme going on here), it's adds so much sparkle to this project and the "best" thing is, it doesn't "shed" like those Big Box Store papers that have glitter falling all over the place…ugh!
I will be offering a Class for Christmas using a Charger plate, I will be sure and post pictures and instructions on how to make this one and the one I have in mind for Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, well, you get the picture, right?
Now go on, and love on your family, give God thanks for your bounty, and remember to invite someone who would otherwise be "alone" on this very special day our Lord and Savior gave to us!
