Happy New Year, really, already?

Yes, can you believe Christmas is officially over and we are now getting ready to ring in the new Year? With that in mind, since I was late getting a Christmas Charger Plate for my sweet friend, Lady Beth, I decided New Year's is around the corner too, so I am giving her this for Christmas.

It's a New Years Ensemble! I sure hope she likes it. Things aren't "perfect", buy I know she understands it was made with lots of love!

So I purchased a Black Charger Plate from our local Big Box Craft store, and used it as my base for this gift. I added an 8" round piece of some of our Fabulous Champagne Glimmer Paper….can't get enough of it, well, you know how much I love bling!

I used an E-Cutter to cut out the Happy New Year for me, and I hand cut the Champagne Glasses, added our fabulous (yes again) Champagne Glimmer Paper to make it look like Champagne bubbly, and I Cut various size circles and made these litte paper Rosettes with bling in the center to bring the whole group together.

I also made this adorable Top Hat, and yes, again, added lots of bling, some cute feathers to make it look like a festive New Years Eve Hat you "might" wear to a party!

Then of course I had to make a pretty Champagne Bottle, since we are using the "bubbly" as our theme here. It's not my best work, but I love the bling on it. Hope my girlfriend does too!

This handmade Champagne bottle has a real cork in it and it fits perfectly. But again, you know me, I can leave well enough alone! Yup, more bling on the cork and around the top of the bottle. By the way, the bottle opens up so you can insert a tealight and watch it glow beautifly inside the bottle as it has velum on the inside to give it a really nice effect!

Can you see the wholes punch out on the each panel I hand put together to make the bottle. Covered it with cardstock and then blinged it up! This is where you can see the pretty glow eminating from the bottle. Of course we use a "battery operated tea light" so we don't burn her house down…..lol
