I was invited a couple weeks ago to my friend Ingrid's home for lunch this past Saturday. Let me just say, she has an AMAZING and beautiful home. She is also an artist, and well, I was just so blessed by Ingrid, and what she told me would be just a small gathering of a few girlfriends (14 is small gathering, ghesh, and that did not include her daughter, grandaughter, grandaughters friend, and husband Stan who were there as well). We had a grand time so I new when I got home what kind of card I was making my wonderful German friend, Ingrid!

I used the chalkboard technique again, but this time I know it was just right for Ingrid. She is a vintagy girl, has tons of fabulous antiques.

She must have had at least 100 "vintage" Hummels everywhere. I told her she needed to go around with a video camera to ensure if anything ever happened, God forbid, she would be able to recoup some of her money!

Ingrid moved down here to Georgia a little over 10 years ago with husband Stan. But let me tell you, she lived in New York after coming here from Germany, and this woman (probably in her early 70's) was the "CAPTAIN" of her and her husbands ship, and Stan was always the FIRST MATE" How hilarious is that? Stan says, I knew not to argue with her when she had her mind set on something a loooooong time ago!

I am blessed to have fabulous, godly older women who have taken me under their wing when my momma went to be with the Lord last October 2012. I love these gals so much!

Hope you enjoyed your visit today!
