As you know I love making cards, actually just "playing with paper"! Wish I could make this my full time job. but alas, still have several more years to work, before my AT&T pension kicks it, and when it does, I am going to be doing all this FULL TIME….so stinkin excited!
Anywho, I have become the "card maker" at work, and we needed a masculine card and here is what I came up witih, hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it tonight!
I used a piece of DSP from the Poetic DSP in our Spring Catalog! Let me tell you, best bang for you buck! A great and beautiful pack, which can be used for any time of card, scrapbook pages, etc.
A close up of the card. I used out Early Expresso sticked grosgrain ribbon, and yes although this is a very masculine card, I was able to sneak in a tiny piece of bling, can you see it?
I used a "crimper", retired by Stampin' Up, but heard you can buy them at big box stores now. I thought it gave the card some balance to go along with the chevron embossing on the Crumb Cake cardstock.
Thanks for visiting me and hope to see you all back tomorrow for some FABULOUS cards I received from my precious and lovely friend Fontainne. You are going to love them!
Your Stampin' Coach,
Until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised "tomorrow"!
