A dear friend of mind recently had the wonderful experience of a new grand baby. I tried to explain the best I could how unbelievably awesome it is to be a grandmother. Of course, I could not do the experience justice, as she had to experience it herself.
I made this card for her son and daughter-in-love, plus a nice fleecy warm baby blanket. I used the Seaside Shore Stamp Set, take a look:
You guessed it, his name is Connor! He is an absolute doll baby. I used the the By the Shore Designer Series Paper. It went together so well. If you look closely you can almost see the ripples in the water of the paper, it's amazing.
I cut out the fishes from the actual Designer Series Paper, instead of using the stamp set. I needed smaller fishes, and this worked ideally for this particular card.
I used some retired dies, Little Letter Thinlet dies for his name. I cut them out 3 times and glued them together to get a more "lifted" look so his name would be pronounced, and would catch your eye first.
I also used one of the Tree Dies to "create" the coral. And this is not my original idea, it's cased from Pinterest……of course! I do love how the card turned out, and I hope you do too. Goes to show you we can all learn and try new things when we search different website for just the right look, sentiment, or simply spark an idea. So, go create something!
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow!

I love this and I especially like the coral!
