Let’s Make a Medallion

As I had mentioned a few posts back, Stampin' Up released their second wave of fun Sale-A-Bration products.  One of them is the Make A Medallion Stamp Set.  It's a photopolymer stamp set, so lining up is going to be a breeze.  Here's what is a sample of some fun cards I made today.

I decided to use some nice vibrant colors.  Here is what I paired up, Emerald Envy and Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flaming, and Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Delightful Dijon, and Dapper Denim, with Night of Navy.

I first used some Versamark Ink to stamp the images on each piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then added our White Embossing Powder and heat set the images.  Next, I picked out the colors of Stampin' Up Classic Ink I wanted to use, and inked up half on each piece of cardstock.  Easy peasy, and fun, fun, fun!

Next I picked out a sentiment from the Hostess Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog, Iconic Occasions.  If you haven't given this stamp set a second look, please do, it has some great much needed sentiments.  I really like it.

Did you noticed one of the card with some "added" bling?  Yup, I used another new Sale-A-Bration item which was recently released, the Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack, and I picked out the Bermuda Bay color.  Listen you will receive 12 (4 of each color) 6 X 6 pieces of this gorgeous Glimmer Paper.  It's a great bargain!

I popped up the sentiments with some dimensionals as well as the embossing layer of the card.  Easy peasy, and I created four because you never know when your going to need one, right?

Come back and join me again, because I love your visits, and if you would, be sure and leave me a comment, I greatly appreciate it.
