I inked up the Big On Birthday Stamp Set, and here is the card I came up with. As I say I "pull" colors from the Designer Series Paper, here I used the Party Animal Designer Paper.
It's a pretty simple layout, but pretty effective too. I will have details below of sizes. I did want to share this one tip with you. I like to add some ribbon when I use two separate pieces of cardstock. Here I used the Pacific Point Satin Stitched Ribbon. And here is my tip:
I took a scrap piece of cardstock, and adhered the DSP to it, then, adhered the piece other piece of cardstock I was going to butt up against it.
I snipped off the excess and then added my ribbon to the seam where they both come together. Conserves cardstock, and keep your project professional looking.
Always like to finish the inside up with a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock. Now that is a quick, easy, and fun Birthday Card!
Now the measurements:
Pacific Point Cardbase 5 1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4",
Party Animal DSP 3'x 4"
Tangerine Tango 2-5/8' x 3-1/8" outer box layer
Whisper White 2-3/4" x 4" top layer, 2-3/4" x 3" for gift box, plus a scrap to adhere pieces together
Tangerine Tango Ink Pad
I used the ribbon from the Balloon Pop=Up Thinlits Die (scrap piece of Pacific Point cardstock), a big Pearl, and some Wink of Stella on the ribbon. Easy Peasy!
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow!
