I have so neglected the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper, and I really don't know why. So, I decided to put it to use. Here is one of the cards I came up with tonight.
This was already mailed to a March Birthday girl, I sure hope she likes it. It was certainly made with lots of love. Here is a closer look at the colored in DSP with our yummy Watercolor Pencils.
So I colored in with the Real Red pencil, my camera skills are lacking, so it looks a bit like coral, but it's not. I absolutely adore our Watercolor Pencils, they literally melt on the paper when you add some water, or use the Blender Pen.
So I had a 1/2" piece of DSP left over, and I decided to use it inside the card to give it a finished look. Oh, I also had a left over piece of black cardstock, so boom, I used it inside too! My Momma always said, waste not, want not.
The sentiment is from the Big On Birthdays Stamp Set, and I had used it yesterday for the flowers on my Easter card, and I saw it also had a fun birthday greeting, so I used it, that simple. I did emboss the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and Versamark Ink Pad.
I hope you enjoyed sharing with you today, and I hope you come back and visit me again. I truly appreciate you. If there is a stamp set, technique , or just have a question, please feel free to comment, and I will get back with you as quick as I can.
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow!
