I pulled out my Special Reason Stamp Set and inked it up today because it was 88 degrees! Yes, can you believe it? A week ago it was cold, rainy, windy, and just plain yuck! Today is the first day of Spring, and a gorgeous day, thank you Lord! It made me think of this stamp set and the fact that Spring has literally sprung. Then, there is the pollen count, but I will leave that for another day.
I love the color combo, and the blinnnnnng it has. At first I thought too blingy, one of the pics above, is an extreme close-up and looks funny, however, when you are looking at it normally, it's not bad at all. Yes, I am your regular stamper who tries hard to do the best job on her cards, but is definitely not perfect. This is such a fun, happy card.
Did you notice the centers of the flowers? I added some of our Fine Tip Glue Pen, and it looks like the old Crystal Effects we use to use. Dual purpose adhesive, I love it.
I added some Stylish Stem flowers on the inside of the card to give it a cute finished look. I also popped up the first layered panel with our Stampin' Dimensionals. I really should buy stock in those, I use them that much.
You probably can't see it too well on this picture, but I took some Dazzling Diamonds AND Clear Embossing Powder, mixed them together, and now when I emboss, it come with some automatic bling on it! Cool, right?
