Glossy Cardstock Tutorial

I am back to share with you how I create some fun texture on our returning Glossy Cardstock.  Today I decided to use the "This Little Piggy" stamp set for this technique.

This Littl Piggy 1

The card is simple, and so is the technique.

As you can see from the instructions above, it's just some fun dabbing onto the Glossy Cardstock with a sponge which has been sprayed with some Alcohol, and few drops of your favorite reinkers.  You create a fun background with some a few simple products, but it creates a big impact and fun texture.

I also wanted to share with you this fun idea.  Using our Circle Tab Punch I picked out some cardstock which matched the reinkers I was going to use.  Punched out the tab, and stapled it to the Stampin' Sponge Wedge.  Keeps your fingers clean when you are creating this fun background.

Skinny Dimensional

I also needed a piece of "skinny" dimension, so I used the Skeleton piece of my Stampin' Dimensionals by cutting some thin strips with my Paper Snips.  I wanted the frame to pop off from the image, sort of creating a frame.

Thank you for stopping by today and visiting me, and hope you will return soon to see some new shares I have scheduled for you!  In the meantime, if you are ready to create your own fun backgrounds, be sure to select any of the products I used directly below, and the link will take you to my online store.
