Climbing Orchid

I decided to ink up my Climbing Orchid Stamp Set today, and also CASE the 2017-2018 Catalog.  I really like how they turned out.

Climbing Orchid 1

I changed up the positioning of the 1/2" Finely Woven Powder Pink Ribbon on the card, but other than that, it's the same layout.   As you can see here, I used the "line art" stamps to create the flower.  The stamp also had the fill in pieces for a total of 28 stamps in this set.  A great value!  Bundle it up wit the coordinating dies, and receive a 10% discount, and in no time you will have a beautiful card as well.

Climbing Orchid 2

Did you noticed the fun Gold Glimmer Paper on the card?  I didn't want to waste a ton of paper underneath the Whisper White Cardstock, so I decided to cut the paper in 1/2 strips, and simply lay it on the sides of the Whisper White in angles, so it looks like the whole sheet is there.  Love to save!!

Climbing Orchid 3

Here are the details:

Pool Party Cardstock – 8 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4" for cardbase

Whisper White Cardstock – 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", scraps for stamping the orchids

Gold Glimmer Paper – 1/2" Strips

1/2" Finely Woven Powder Pink Ribbon – 4" pieces

Ink – Powder Pink, Flirty Flaming, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Early Expresso Classic Stampin' Pads

Cut and score your card base (and why not make two of them while your creatin'), set aside.

Stamp the Lined Orchids in some scrap Whisper White with Powder Pink Classic Ink, and the Center of the flowers with Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad.  Using the coordinating dies, cut out all your pieces with the Big Shot.

Using a Stampin' ink up with Pool Party Classic Ink, and begin sponging the center of the 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Whisper White cardstock, feathering it out all the way to the edges.

Assemble the Orchids with some Glue Dots.  Ink up the branches of the stamp set as shown on my card, and start with the bottom branch first, place the larger assembled orchid so you figure where to stamp the second branch (move it before you stamp), then do the stamp for the last branch on the top right side of the card.

Using the 1/2" Glimmer Paper strips, "strategically place them on the Whisper White cardstock as shown.

Folder your 1/2" Finely Woven Powder Pink ribbon as shown, and adhere it to the cardbase with some Fast Fuse, or double-sided adhesive of your choice.

Add some Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of all the orchids, I used the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the buds, they fit perfectly, and adhere to the card.  Add more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the Whisper White layer, and adhere to the Pool Party cardbase.  Your done!
