I've been wanting to use the sparkly and beautiful Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper, and decided this project was perfect. I have 7 grandchildren, which means lots of teacher gifts needed, so I decided to get a jump start on some of them.
These fun Treat Holders were a snap to pull together. Janet Wakeland a fellow demonstrator created something similar to these, and I loved them. Here is my take on these cute Holders.
Did you noticed those cute little candies on the inside of the Treat Tubes? Yep, I found these last week and thought they would be perfect for some fun festive Halloween candy.
These are the candies I found at one of our local stores. I don't have to worry about them melting before they are gifted.
Here is a quick side view of the treat holders.
So here is how I made then. I cut the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper to 6" X 2". I Used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch for the top of the treat holder.
Next, I scored the treat holder (on the 6" side) at 1-1/2", 2", 4", and 4-1/2". I punched in between the 1-1/2" and 2" score lines, and then again between the 4" and 4-1/2" score lines, using the 3/4" Circle Punch.
I folded on the score lines, and inserted the tube in the holes, added some fun ribbon. I used the Labels Of Love Stamp Set with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch.
Did you catch those matching Rhinestones? So to pull together the look, I used some Sharpie Markers on our Basic Rhinestone Jewels to match each color of Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today.
