A different kind of card

Besides Fall, Halloween, and cooler weather (except here in Georgia where it was almost 90 degrees today!), October means Pastor Appreciation month.  I decided to use the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set.  For the sentiment, I used a "non-Stampin' Up! Christian stamp set.

The colors I used for the leaves were Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive Classic Inks.  First I stamped the leaves in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then using my Sponge Daubers, I inked up the leaves using the all the colors, and sponging only the edges of the leaves with more Early Espresso Ink.

Pastor 2

In addition to the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set (with coordinating dies), I also used the Touches of Texture Stamp Set to add some texture.  You can see the Crumb Cake Classic Ink stamped behind the leaves.

Pastor 5

I used the Champagne Foil Sheets on the little doodads (because I don't know what the proper name for this is, can you help?), and the Thick Very Vanilla Bakers Twine for a small quick bow.

Pastor 3

The cardstock colors I used are Crumb Cake for the cardbase, with some Early Espresso for the first layer over the base.  Then some Cajun Craze, with some Very Vanilla for the sentiment and leaves centered on the card. We tucked in a Cracker Barrel Gift Card, and the chocolates I shared with you earlier.

Measurements for the card are below for you, as well as the items I used on the card, where you can simply click on it to order for your convenience.

 Crumb Cake Cardstock: 8-1/2" X 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"

Early Espresso Cardstock layer: 4-1/4" X 5-3/8"

Cajun Craze Cardstock center layer: 3-1/4" X 4-3/4"

Very Vanilla top layer with sentiment: 3" X 4-1/2"
