Today I am featuring the second from the three cards I previously created for our office management team. Here are the three cards together.
I used the Grown with Love stamp set and coordinating dies, which make designing and creating this card a snap! The colors I used on this card are bright, and bold, Pacific Point, Rich Razzzleberry, Lemon Lime Twist, Tangerine Tango, and Soft Suede Classic Inks.
I took them to the office yesterday, and my friend Mandy really like them, which made me very happy. I always worry when I receive a special order request, it's not going to be what they were looking for, whew, it worked out. Did you check out the matching envelope? Yep, I used the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, and then also used a piece on the flap of the envelope to bring it all together.
I decided I wanted my flowers in some bold, different colors for the pot, and with this bundle you can definitely achieve the look. Did you check out the bow? Yep, I used the 1/8" Sheet Whisper White ribbon, wrapping it 3 times to make the bow a bit fuller.
There are several pieces of dies to the set, and Brown With Love stamp set. I could have gone with the wagon, or watering can, but ultimately decided on the pot. To change the sentiment in the center of the flower stamp set, I could have simply inked up the stamp set, and with a Q-tip, removed the working to leave it blank, and fit whatever other sentiment I needed. However, this sentiment worked perfectly for me.
While designing my card, I wanted to frame the bucket with flowers, however I didn't want a solid white background, hence I used the Layering Square Framelits to cut out the square piece, and then figured out how think I wanted my frame, and used a non-scalloped die from the same set to create my frame.
