Clear Acetate Box

October is Pastor Appreciation Month.  I created a card for our local Pastor, and decided to include a small sweet treat.  Here is what I came up with.

Acetate Gift Box 1

I found some  yummy Fall colored Caramel filled Hershey kisses, and thought these would be a nice small addition to the card I had already created.  Now, how was I going to package them?  I decided a small box, but I also wanted the sweets to be visible, so I decided I would use our Window Sheets, which are incredibly sturdy to create a box.  I made a 2,4,6,8 box, so easy peasy, but cute.  The cool thing about this box, is the top comes off, but "not completely", it stays attached for an easy closure.

I needed it to have some masculine flair, so I opted to use the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, and felt the Copper, Gold, and Champagne Foil Sheets also gave it a look of Fall and a bit of elegance as well.

  Acetate Gift Box 3

I didn't just want to drop in the Hershey Kisses in the box, I felt it needed some "cushioning" on the bottom, so I made my own matching shreds!  Just took some coordinating cardstock in Early Expresso and Pumpkin Pie, and cut them in 1/8" strips, then crinkled them up with my hand.

I heard from many of you regarding my last post and wanting instructions on how to recreate this project, and I am working on those instructions as we speak.  I will post them as soon as I get them finished up.  Also, thank you so much for your kind comments, I truly appreciate you letting me know you enjoy the projects, and like the instructions I share.

I look forward to sharing more fun, creative ideas with you.  I love what I do, and I love sharing it with you more than anything!  I have included the items I used on this project below for your convenience.
