The Seasonal Lantern Bundle is such a sweet bundle. Although the set has gourds for Fall, a candle and dove for Christmas, and the Menorah for Hanukkah, this set can really be used for any occasion, simply change up the colors for Spring, Summer, or any other Season of your choice.
I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper from the 2017 Holiday Catalog. It’s so gorgeous. For the center panel in Very Vanilla Cardstock, I embossed using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (now that is a mouthful, right?). A small 1/2″ strips of Basic Black Cardstock on each side of the embossed Very Vanilla Cardstock to accent the panel.
The colors I used on the gourds are Crushed Curry, and Cajun Craze Classic Ink, on the pine cone I used Early Espresso for the outline, and Crumb Cake for the inside. I stamped the leaves and bow first using Memento Ink, and then colored them in with the Blends (Old Olive Light and Dark, and Pumpkin Pie Light and Dark).
I am in love with these fabulous Alcohol Markers, and the ease of blending colors makes me look like I have done this for a while, and I have “not”!
I also used the yummy Champagne Foil Sheets from the 2017 Holiday Catalog. I think it adds just the right amount of bling, without overpowering the card. The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink. The coordinating dies make this card come together in a snap.
