Happy New Year my creative, crafty friends! I hope you are looking forward to a new year, and pray it will be “Blessed Beyond Measure” for you!!
I have been busily creatin’ from my new “stash of goodies” I was able to order early, thanks to being an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator, and I am loving my new stuff. Here is a look at one of my latest creations.
I used the new Sure Do Love You Stamp Set and coordinating Lots of Love Box Framelits (you can purchase the bundle and save 10%!!).
Isn’t the box you can make with this die simply adorable? And look at the additional hearts you can add to your collection, which of course coordinated perfectly with the Sure do Love You Stamp Set. And you receive 2 of the leaf dies, so you can cut these out lickity split. Love that Stampin’ Up is doing this now.
I used the stamp set to add some dazzle (like it needed any considering how fabulous it is) to the new Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I inked up the large heart with Versamark, and then added some White Embossing Powder, and heat set it around the heart opening.
The box ends up in a 3″ x 5″ box, and it’s perfect for adding some yummy candy, or, use the fun new Whisper White Narrow Note Cards for a fun gift (they fit perfectly inside the box, and win/win!).
The side is about 3/4″ thick, not to much, and not to little……….just right.
Like I already mentioned, I love you receive two (2) of the leaf dies to quickly create your project. Here I used one of the hearts from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits and then punched a hole with our 1/8″ hole punch. Added some linen thread, and walla, I’m done. This project took me literally 15 minutes! Can you see yourself whipping these babies out for Valentine’s Day, St. Patricks Day, Easter, and so on? Yep, these will be a keeper!
