March 2018 Luv2StampinGa Team Meeting

I have been busy preparing for my Team Meeting these last few days.  We had our March 2018 Luv2StampinGa Team Meeting yesterday.  Here is what it looked like before the team arrived.  The calm before the fun.

Here is what it looked like when the team was having fun creating th Make-N-Takes I designed for them.

I had shared this card a few days ago, and I was going to use it as my swap.  I felt it was missing something, so I popped up the sentiment.  See what do you think?

I definitely liked it much better.  I used the Layering Ovals Framelits on the sentiment, and I added a Metallic Enamels Shaped Heart, which I had colored with a Sharpie marker to match my Melon Mambo cardstock.

I think the other card I shared earlier was fine, but this one makes the sentiment the complete focal point, and the sentiment spoke volumes to me.  They reminded me of my daughter Kara, and two DIL’s Becca, and Lynn, all of them a great mother’s.

I have a ton of fun cards to share with you this week that my team created and shared yesterday.  They bring swap cards, and then the team votes for the top one.  Let me just say I am so glad I do not vote, because they are all always fantastic cards.

Thank you for visiting with me today, and I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful.

Below are all the items I used to create this fun card, as well as the measurements.

Card Details:

Thick Whisper White Cardstock – Base = 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, Ruffled Layer = 4″ X 5-1/4″ for, and Sentiment Layer = 2-7/8″ X 3-7/8″

Melon Mambo Layer – 3″ X 4″, and a 2-1/4″ X 3-1/2″ for the scalloped sentiment layer.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
