I am so excited you decided to continue on the Go for Greece Blog Hop. There are some pretty talented folks sharing their creative juices with you. Today, I am sharing this cute Onsie Card with you. Let’s get started.
Aren’t these adorable? I hadn’t made these cuties in a long while, so thought it was time. I have instructions for you as I make the boy and girl onsies a little bit different. I like the girl onsie to look a little more slender and feminine looking, and the boy a little more thicker.
I used the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch for the head, and two leg openings. For the Girl Onsie I measured in 3/4″ and for the Boy Onsie I measured in 1/2″ from the side. These are a standard A4 card. So I can the card base at 4-1/4″ X 11″, and scored at 5-1/2″. Then Proceed to cut the onsie based on my diagram above.
This Onsie card comes together very quickly with a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, and your Stampin’ Trimmer. The key is to measure twice and cut once :-).
Here is what it will look like when you are done. Now simply decorate as you wish. These would make an adorable baby invitation, thank you cards, you name it! I have included this quick tutorial/collage for you as well.
Here is how I finished up the inside by cutting the largest of the Stitched Shaped Framelits Circles, and stamping the sentiment with Blushing Bridge Class Ink. Consider this one done!
*I used the retiring Pink Pirouette Cardstock on the girl card, which no doubt will sell out soon.
