Painted Glass Bundle
I pulled out the Painted Glass Stamp Set, the Stained Glass Thinlits Dies, and the Graceful Glass 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper, and tried several new things with this Bundle. All the cards I created are from the same bundle, but based on the coloring technique, or DSP I used, they all look different. Let me break it down for you.
This card is pretty simple. I used the Graceful Glass Designer Series Paper with the pictured image, and using my Stampin’ Blends, proceeded to color in the images. I found if I simply wait a few minutes between adding different coats of color, I can either intensify or keep the color soft and subtle. As you can see on the butterfly I really intensified the Daffodil Delight coloring and the Bermuda Bay as well. All the other colors I used, I kept very soft.
I used the Stained Glass Thinlits to create my opening for the DSP sheet I selected. I butted the two dies I show here together, ran them through the Big Shot, and then inserted the square frame a second time to cut an additional 1/2″ for the opening. I did need to snip out a tiny piece from where both dies met, but other than that, I let the dies do the work for me.
Here are the colors I used on this card, Daffodil Delight Dark, Light and Dark Pool Party, Light and Dark Bermuda Bay, Dark Pink, Light and Dark Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Bronze, and Color Lifter (for those oopsies).

Thank you for this tutorial. I have this bundle, haven’t used it and now I was wondering what to do with it. You solved that for me.
My pleasure Patsy Oberg.
Gloria, I am admiring your 4 versions of the Painted Glass Bundle I have found on Pinterest. I am curious what the inside of these beautiful cards looked like.Thanks.
Marilyn
Hey Marilyn, I usually stamp a little something on the inside, and in these cards were no different. I am sorry I didn’t take a photo, and the cards are long gone to their recipients. I will be mindful to ensure I do it for all my projects. Be Blessed!
