Halloween Double Gatefold Card and Tutorial
I was visiting Pinterest, my favorite location for inspiration and I saw a double gatefold card with a Christmas theme, which launched my thought for this card.
I am a “visual” learner, and I think some of you are as well. I also like having a “document” to go back and refer to for any future cards I may decide to create. With this in mind, I have a downloadable tutorial along with measurements and pictures to help you create this fun fold!
Please, please, please give me some feedback and let me know if these types of tutorials are helpful, or if there is something else that helps you. I am here to help and serve YOU! 🙂
As you can see, I let the Toil & Trouble Designer Series paper do most of the talking for me. This paper is perfect for creating this type of fun fold card, don’t you think?
The paper being 12″ X 12″ allows you to create two full cards with each sheet of Designer Series Paper, which includes a leftover piece of 1″ X 12″ which you can use for your bellyband as well. With one pack of DSP you can create 24 double gatefold cards! Now that is a great deal!

As you can see in this photo I used the Stamp Set from the September My Paper Pumpkin kit, called Fright & Delights! I can’t get enough for those adorable spiders (and I really don’t like spiders, but these are too cute)! If you’re interested in viewing information regarding the My Paper Pumpkin monthly kit, go HERE for details.
I fussy cut one of the hats from the Toil & Trouble DSP, and added it on my circle with some dimensionals. I also inked up the Whisper White circle with some Smoky Slate and Crushed Curry Classic Inks. I stamped the spiders using Memento Black Ink.

You can see on this photo I used some of our fun Silver Metallic Thread on the belly band and underneath the center of the hat.
As always, thank you for taking the time to visit me today, and I hope I’ve inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.
For your shopping convenience, I have all the items I used on this project listed below, or you can also download the project sheet.
