Holiday Gift Giving Ideas
I have been busy, busy, busy creating some fun projects I want to share with you this week. Here is the ensemble I put together for my friends at work.
There are several projects I will be sharing each item individually, and sharing how I created each of them.

Ornaments
Let’s start with these cute ornaments. I asked my hubby to cut me some wood slices, and he did because he’s the best!! He picked found a tree in our backyard he thought would work, and it did, perfect! He drilled a hole on the top of each slice for me. You can also order these type of wood slices on Amazon.

I started out be using some Shimmery White Embossing Paste as my base coat to the wood pieces. I waited about 10 minutes for the paste to dry, then mixed some additional paste with the Coastal Cabana Reinker to create the blue ice on the bottom of the ornament.

Next, I used the Signs of Santa Designer Series Paper to cut out these adorable little elves, Mrs. Claus, and Santa Claus, gift packages, etc. I ADORE this whole Bundle!!!
I coated each of the pieces of DSP with Decoart Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-on Gloss Glaze because I’m hoping the recipient will want to save this cute ornament forevah.

Once my pieces had dried I added lots of dimensionals to my pieces and added some Tombow Liquid Glue to ensure they didn’t go anywhere. I attached each to my wood pieces. Next, I added some Baker’s Twine at the top of my ornament, and added a cute bow as well.
I stamped the back with my name and added the year I created these cuties. That’s it, super cute and super fun. These would be great to create with your grandkids, I will be doing some with mine soon!
Would you like to win one of these cuties? Drop me a message here, and I will pick a couple names by Friday, December 14, 2018.

I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and gift it away! For your convenience, I have all the Stampin’ UP! Products I used to create these adorable ornaments. Simply select the product and you will be taken directly to my online store.
