Waterfall Thank You

Today I am sharing one of my recently Stamp Club Make-N-Take cards using This Little Piggy Stamp Set from the 2018 -2019 Stampin’ Up! Catalog and using the Waterfall Technique.  My club gals really liked making this card, and at first, were a bit nervous thinking it was complicated, but after we went through how to create it, they were pleasantly surprised at how easy it all came together.

Card details listed at the bottom of this post.

This Little Piggy thank you

Isn’t he the cutest?  I certainly think so, which is why we used him for this project.  The This Little Piggy Stamp Set has more greetings than shown here, what I did was cover the sentiment on the piggy stamps with some Washi Tape, inked up my stamp in Memento Black Ink, removed the Washi Tape then stamped it on my Whisper White Cardstock.

This Little Piggy

The piggy was colored in using my Stampin’ Blends, we used the Light and Dark Petal Pink for the piggies skin and the Light and Dark Granny Apple Green for the grass.

Using the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies I cut out each piggy with my Big Shot, then cut a coordinating Scalloped Square from the Layer Square Framelit Dies (on this card we used Daffodil Delight cardstock for the scalloped square).

The card base is a single piece of 5-1/2″ X 4-1/4″ piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  The reason I kept it to a single piece of cardstock was that I knew the additional cardstock we would need to complete the card would “bulk it up” a bit more than normal, so cutting out one additional layer helped to keep this card mailable without additional postage.   The second layer is cut at 5-1/8″ X 4-1/8″ of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.

Here is the back of the card with plenty of room to write your sentiment, and finished it up with a piece of coordinating Gingham Gala 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper.

I think the project turned out super cute and hope you will try making one yourself.  I have included the products I used below for your shopping convenience, and please know I truly appreciate your business and support.  You can also download the supply list below.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!

  1. This is adorable! Can you please tell me what size the plain daffodil delight CS is on the front of the card and the white strip that pulls through the front? Thank you so much, I can’t wait to make this, I love the piggy’s!! 🥰

    • Thank you Sherry, glad you like the waterfall card. It is a quarter sheet of an 8-1/2″ X 11″ piece of cardstock, so it’s 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″. Let me know if you need anything else. Have a blessed weekend!

  2. Nhow fabulous! And the best thing is we can use many different sets! TFS!

    • Thank you Ms. Carol, and yes, I have another I will be sharing soon using the Birthday Cheer Bundle. Hope to have a video out tomorrow.
