March 2019 Stamp Club

My Stamp Club met this past Saturday, and these are the projects we created.  I will share each one of them in detail over the next few days.  I used two of the NEW FREE Sale-A-Bration items, the Country Floral Dynamic Textures Embossing Folder, and the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper.  Oh my word, such gorgeousness!

I have card details listed for you at the bottom of this post.

I used my sponge daubers to color in the “raised” images on my embossed cardstock with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Classic Ink Pads.  Love the dimension it gives the card.

Wonderful Romance Bundle

I also used the Wonderful Romance Bundle and the Gingham Gala 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper for this project.

I used a separate 4″ X 5-1/4″ Piece of Whisper White cardstock to emboss the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, and I did not emboss a 1″ piece of the cardstock on the right because I wanted to add a 1-1/4″ piece of the Gingham Gala DSP.  It’s easier for the DSP to adhere to the cardstock if there aren’t any bumps.

Before I adhered my first layer to my Thick Whisper White card base, I added some 1/8″ Sheer Old Olive Ribbon to the front.

Don’t Foret the Inside Panel!

I embossed a separate piece of 1-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and added it to the inside of the card, with an additional 1/4″ X 5″ piece of Old Olive Cardstock for the finished look.

I couldn’t resist stamping the cute flowers in the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set, and using the coordinating Wonderful Floral Framelit Dies for the sentiment.  Using my Take Your Pick Tool and my Stamping Mat, I created an indention in each flower, then I added one of the smallest Pearl Basic Jewels to each flower.

I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.  Try creating two fo the same card and you will have them ready to go when you need them!

  3. This is a very pretty card. I am going to use it as a “jumping off place” to make a birthday card for a friend. I don’t have all of the elements you used, but will create a card that is somewhat similar. At least that is my plan. Sometimes they sort of take on a life of their own when I begin stamping and they don’t come out anywhere near the original plan!
Thank you for sharing this lovely card.

  4. Super lovely card. You might want to consider a different font for your website. At my age, I find it hard to read the fancy font.
