Bunny Easter Card

I am so excited to share with you this adorable Bunny Easter Card.  I think she is absolutely adorable, and believe my granddaughter Kiersten is going to love this card!

I have all the information you need to recreate this project, and hope you will too!

I have made this type of card previously using punches, but like this one much better using our Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and Catch of the Day Dies.

The grass was made using the Tropical Escape 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack.  It is so bright and cheerful, don’t you think?  I cut the DSP at 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.

Ok, let’s get started.  Looking at the picture above, you can see I used the largest of the Layering Ovals Framelits for the head, then the Third Largest Scalloped Oval Framelits for the Outer Ear, and lastly, the smallest Layering Oval for the Inner Ear (the pink part).  I used Whisper White cardstock for the Head, Outer Ears, and Cheeks, then I used Bushing Bride Cardstock for the Inner Ear and Nose.

I started out with a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock for my base cut at 4-1/4″ X 11″, scored at 5-1/2″/.  I inked up the upper portion of the card base with Pool Party Classic Ink.

I punched the nose using the 3/4″ Circle Punch, the cheeks with the 1″ Circle Punch, the black Eyeballs with the 1/2″ Circle Punch.

The “grass” was cut using the Catch of The Day Thinlits Dies.  I made sure to place the clear top plate to ONLY CUT the top of the grass, otherwise, you will have pieces of grass, not one full sheet. 🙂

The Hair Bow is made using the Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ Variegated Ribbon and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

I used the Lily Framelits Dies for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Fable Friends Stamp Set.  Lastly, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker for the freckles and whiskers, and the White Chalk marker for the twinkle in the eyes.

I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.  I have included the products I used below for you, simply select the product and you will be taken directly to my online store.  Or, you can download the supply list and then go to my 24/7 online store.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
