Tea Together for Mom
I used the Fun Fold technique called Double Easel Card to create this cute Mother’s Day Card for my dear friend, and pseudo mom, Mary Clarke. As you can see I used the Tea Together Stamp Set and “sadly” this was my first time inking it up. I can’t believe it, because by now I would have already inked this cutie up, but alas, it was on my shelf unused. Well, I have remedied that situation now.
I have all the details on creating this cute card at the bottom of my post.
I think Mary is going to like this card, I love how pretty it looks with the petal pink vellum from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper I used. By the way, I have the dies for this set, but in case you don’t, I went ahead and fussy cut both piece, and it was super easy! So no worries if you missed getting the Tea Together Framelits during Sale-A-Bration!
I stamped the teapot and teacup on the vellum, added some of our adhesive sheets to the back of the vellum before I added it to the whisper white cardstock, you can’t see the adhesive at all. By the way, the Adhesive Sheets are retiring so be sure and order some to keep in your arsenal because you know we have some pretty cool vellum goodies coming out in the new 2019-2010 Annual Catalog, just saying!!
I added a white piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to the main portion of my card, but not before running it through the Dynamic Textures Subtles Embossing Folder for texture. I took a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and ran a small piece through the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder to create a lace tablecloth look. I stamped the floral image on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and colored in the image with my Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Mint Macaron Combo Blends for a touch of feminity.
The sentiment was stamped with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, then embossing with the Needlepoint Elements Framelit Dies to give the stitches around the sentiment, then used the Pretty Label Punch. I added the sentiment with some dimensionals. Lastly, I added some of the cut Faceted Dots.
And you know I like to finish the inside of my projects with some coordinating color and DSP, this one was no different.
Thank you so much for visiting with me today and I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way because that is what we love to do.
I have listed below all the products I used on this project for your shopping convenience, and please know I so appreciate your business so very much.

Beautiful card Gloria! Gonna miss that dsp.
