Painted Glass Sympathy
When I logged into my computer on Monday morning at work, I read one of the Director’s had lost their momma, and new I was going to send a sympathy card. I looked through my stamped and found the Painted Glass Stamp Set with this cool sympathy image. I felt it looked a bit more masculine than the others I was looking through.
I did use the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper on the card because it was his momma who passed away. I felt both paired together just worked.
I have measurements for you at the bottom of this post.
Beautiful Layer Thinlit Dies
I also used the Beautiful Layer Thinlit Dies on this project, you can see it on the photo above, it’s in Mossy Meadow Cardstock, behind the sentiment, but in front of the Vellum Cardstock. As mentioned, in order to “tone down” the floral Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, I added our a piece of Vellum Cardstock, again you can see on the photo above.
Don’t Forget the Inside
I continued with the Petal Promenade DSP on the inside of the card, along with a 1/8″ strips of the Mossy Meadow Cardstock on the inside. Whenever I use darker colored cardstock base, I always add a piece of Very Vanilla or Whisper White Cardstock on the inside.
