Royal Peacock Birthday Card

Hello my Stampin’ Friends, I have been in Maryland the last week visiting my daughter Kara, son-in-law Jason, and sweet grandson Jason Jr.  We had a wonderful visit, and miss them already.  I pray nightly they consider moving home to Georgia.  🙂 (well, you can’t blame me right?)

Royal Peacock Birthday Card

Once we returned home we celebrated my BFF’s birthday Mary Cook.  I love this woman, she gets me, and I get her.  We celebrated her birthday at Red Lobster and then had a Pineapple Upside Down birthday cake.  We had a fun time as always.  Another couple (Sheila & Bruce) joined us as well.  

I broke out the  New 2019-2020 Royal Peacock Stamp Set, as well as the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I used the New Beads and Baubles Embossing Folder, and oh so gorgeous Noble Peacock Rhinestones, I always say, I love how everything coordinates so beautifully with my Stampin’ Up! Products.  

I used a couple of the Blends (Pretty Peacock, and Granny Apple Green Combo), I also embossed the peacock with Gold Embossing Powder.  I started with some Thick Whisper White cardstock for my base, added a piece of the “oh-so-gorgeous” Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I cut the center panel using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I also cut out the outside of the peacock with the coordinating Detailed Peacock Dies, and the sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set. 

I embossed the front piece of the Thick Whisper White cardstock with the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder, then propped up the DSP with lots of dimensionals.  I also propped up the peacock with dimensionals, added the Noble Peacock Rhinestones as well.
