Back On Your Feet #2
My cutie patootie granddaughter Kiersten Lila volunteered to be my cardholder for this photo. She loves to create along with her Bebe, and is surprisingly really good considering she’s only 6 years old!
Today I inked up the turtle from the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set. A couple of weeks ago when I ordered the stamp set, I remember thinking the Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder “screamed” turtle shell to me, and would probably work well with this set. I love how it turned out, actually how they turned out, I always make at least 2 of each project for future use.
I’ll have full project details at the bottom of this post.
Back On Your Feet and 3D Mosaic EF
I used the New Noble Peacock Foil Sheets in Old Olive for the turtle shell layer….:-) I set the sentiment layer to the bottom right, so most of the embossing folder would show through. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the Whisper White Sentiment Layer, and then laid it on top of the Basic Black Cardstock, and used my paper trim to cut around it.
I stamped the turtle image on some Whisper White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and proceeded to color it in with Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, and Gray Granite Combo Markers. If you look closely at the photo above, I added the Light Gray Granite Blends around the entire perimeter of the turtle to keep it grounded.
