Gather Together – Harvest Hellos

I have a few stamp sets going on here with this project, I wanted something that each of them offered, so why not, right?

I have detailed instructions and measurements for you.

Buffalo Check & Tiny Keepsakes

Let’s build this from the bottom up.  I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Early Espresso Cardstock, which I scored at 4-1/4″.  Next using a piece of  4″ – 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla Cardstock, I stamped Buffalo Check background Stamp with some Terracotta Tile Classic Ink.

Using some Crumb Cake Cardstock and the Seasonal Layers Dies (the scalloped die), I cut two strips of scalloped edges.  I adhered the scalloped edges to a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock I cut at  2-1/2″ X 5-1/4″.  I sponged the edges with some Crumb Cake Classic Ink.

I used my Embossing Buddy over the top of the sponged Crumb Cake piece I had assembled and stamped the greeting from the August 2019 The Gift of Fall Stamp Set with some VersaMark Ink, then added some White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and set it with my Heat Tool.  I adhered this panel over the top of the Buffalo Check layer.

Moving onto my pumpkin, I stamped the Small (and oh so adorable) buffalo check from the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set with Terracotta Tile Classic Ink over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I then inked up the pumpkin from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set with Early Espresso Classic Ink and stamped it over my small stamped buffalo check image and punched it out with my Apple Builder Punch.  I also stamped the leaf and stem from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set with Early Espresso Classic Ink.  I created 3 of these pumpkins for my project.  One was used on the card.

I colored in the leaf with my Old Olive Blends and Soft Suede Dark Blends for the stem.  Using my Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered the pieces to my pumpkin.  Using the Come To Gather Ribbon Combo (the Cajun Craze Linen ribbon), I made a tiny bow and added it to the top of my pumpkin.  I added my completed pumpkin atop the Crumb Cake layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The final touch was some 2019-2021 Faceted Dots in Terracotta Tile color.  The front of the card is finished.

I kept the inside pretty simply, by adding a piece of 4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock, I had stamped the wheat image from the Gather Together Stamp Set in Early Espresso Classic Ink.  I also added a tiny Cajun Craze Linen Bow.  I called this part of my project done!

The Sweet Treat Holder

Now let’s move onto to the Sweet Treat Holder.  I mentioned previously I created three of these cute pumpkins, and two fo them I used on the front of the box I created to holder my treats.

I cut a piece of Terracotta Tile Cardstock to 2-1/2″ X 6″, and scored on the 6″ side at 1/2″, 2-1/4″, 3-1/4″, & 5″.  Then I turned my cardstock to the 2-1/2″ side and scored at 1″.  I cut on the score lines at the 1″ scored side to the top where it intersects.  I trimmed out a few pieces as shown in the photo above.  I used my Liquid Multipurpose Liquid glue to create my box and added my pumpkin to the front and back with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
