Ferrero Rocher Treat Totes
I have a fun and FREE downloadable tutorial for you today. I wanted a tote for the Ferrero Rocher candies where I could add just one piece of candy or two if I wanted, so I set out to create these cuties. I have a single and a double treat tote holder for you today.
I have the tutorial at the bottom of this post but in the meantime here is how I created them.
I started with a 4-1/4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler White Cardstock and scored it at 1-1/4″ and 3″ on the 4-1/4” side. I rotated the cardstock, then scored at 1-1/4” and 2-1/2” on the 5-1/4” side of the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.
Here is how your project should look with all the score lines and cuts are completed:
You will now add Tear & Tape to the center panels and adhere to the tote as shown in the photo below.
Next, add Tear & Tape to the last two panels and assemble as shown in the photo below.
Now let’s work on the side panel angling. Using a large pair of scissors, cut from one corner of the box to the top corner as shown in the photo below.
I used my ¾” Circle Punch to make a hole at the top of the tote to create a handle. For the double tote, I punched the first tote, then lined it up with the second tote to ensure the holes were in the same spot and punched.
Your tote is now ready to embellish. If you want a double tote, cut another single tote as shown in the instructions above, and adhere the two pieces together as shown in the photo below.
For my totes, I cut a 1” strip of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered it around the single and double totes.
I used the 3/8” Metallic Edge Ribbon (Gold) and colored it with my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker, then made a bow.
Using some Garden Green Cardstock, I could some boughs with the Beautiful Boughs to add some greenery to my project.
I stamped the “for you” sentiment from the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink and punched it with my Classic Label Punch. I trimmed each down and adhered it to my tote with Mini-Glue Dots.
