I  really like the single large Detailed Hearts Die from the NEW 2020 Mini Catalog.  I paired it up with the Forever Lovely Stamp Set from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper

I wanted a subtle background, a pinkish, orangeish color so I used the Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills on the 100 Fluid Watercolor Paper.  First I added an only water wash using my Aqua Painters to ensure the paper was ready for the color.  I placed 1 drop of each reinker on my Silicone Craft Mat (ensuring they were far enough apart not to get the colors mixed), and added a few drops of water and swirled it around.  I started with the Grapefruit Grove color and added the wash of color in various areas of my Watercolor Paper.  Next up was Lovely Lipstick, I wanted this color to take center stage, so I applied this color more liberally.

I used Thick Whisper White Cardstock and cut two (2) of the Detailed Hearts Die and adhered them together.  After the Watercolor Paper had thoroughly dried, I liberally added some Clear Wink Of Stella.  Next, I added the Detailed Heart piece with some Liquid Multipurpose.

I continued by adding some Shimmery Crystal Effects to some of the hearts, and some Clear Wink of Stella to the solid hearts. 

The final touch was the sentiment using the happy valentine’s day from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set which I stamped on a 1/4″ X 2″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock and embossed it with some White Stampin’ Emboss Powder with my Heat Tool.

Lastly, I adhered the Watercolor Paper panel to a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock base cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ which I scored at 4-1/4″.
