Timeless Tulips

I created this project for a friend who is under the weather like so many folks right now with the flu.  I felt so bad for her and wanted to cheer her up.  I hope this brings her a little sunshine.

I used the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, but I decided to break open my NEW Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper which is available to everyone as of 02/04/20 and made this made my project come together lickity split.  I used the coordinating Tulip Builder Punch on the Pleased As Punch DSP for my tulip flowers.

I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which I scored at 4-1/4″.  I cut a 1″ piece of the striped paper (as shown in my photo), and added it with SNAIL Adhesive to the left side of my cardstock base.  I also cut a 1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock and added to the right of my 1″ DSP strip.

I sponged the top of the right side of my card front with Pool Party Classic Ink, a Sponge Dauber and my favorite secret ingredient for sponging, glycerin!  I have a video tutorial explaining how to use it and I will like it below.  I sponged the bottom half of the card with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink and my coordinating Sponge Dauber.   I used the Same green Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink to stamp the stems from the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set, then adhered my previous punched tulips with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped my greeting on a piece of scrap Whisper White Cardstock with my Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, then cut it out another Coordinations Release Product, Sending Flowers Dies. I adhered the sentiment onto my card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I sprinkled some sequins from the FREE Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack.

Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper

I always like to bring my project design to the inside of my cards, and this one was no different.  I cut a 1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of the coordinating striped DSP to the right side of the card and added it with some SNAIL Adhesive, and another 1/4″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock.  I called this project done!
