Birthday Jubilee
I have several birthdays coming up in March, so the Birthday Jubilee was perfect for at least two of the lovely ladies I need to send a card too. One of them is my beautiful daughter, Kara Jackow. We miss our girl so much, she lives in Maryland with her husband Jason, and our grandson Jason Jr.
Our girl’s favorite color is green (I wonder if that has anything to do with her being born in March, St. Patrick’s Day month?), this gave me a starting point for her birthday card.
I have a friend with a birthday this month, so I created a birthday card for Clare using “my” favorite color purple/gorgeous grape.
Both cards are made almost identically with the exception of the ribbon, and the color of flowers I used on each. This card starts with a Granny Apple Green Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.
The first layer is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″. For the second layer, I used an additional piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock to cut my panels using the Jubilee Beauty Dies. The sentiment from the Birthday Jubilee Stamp Set is stamped using Granny Apple Green Classic Ink.
I added the die-cut pieces using small pieces of Stampin’ Dimenisionals I cut to fit using my Paper Snips.
I used my Granny Apple Green and Rococco Rose Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers, which were also added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a bow using the Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon with Mini Glue Dots. I added some Basic Jewel Rhinestones I had colored with the Rococco Rose Stampin’ Blends. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with Granny Apple Green Classic Ink.
For my Gorgeous Grape Birthday Jubilee Card, I cut my cardstock the same as my Granny Apple Green project above. I used the 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon in Gorgeous Grape, and I also cut a few sprigs I added from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink on a 3/4″ X 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Gorgeous cards Gloria! I really need to use these dies. Thanks for the reminder.
Thank you, Cindee
I too have the dies, but have yet to use them…just like Cindee, I need to use them, but sadly no female birthdays til later in the year! But I will use them! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards with us….
You are so kind, thank YOU, Carol
Super cute cards! I love them both! Did you use dimensionals to pop up the panels on both cards or just the green one?
Thanks, Elisha, yes, I cut up pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals and added it to the back of the panels.
