Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper

I created these celebrate cards in three different colors, but all the same layout.  It’s a super simple layout, but the Lily Pad Dies and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper make this card pop (in my humble opinion).

I started with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″.

I cut the second piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″, I sprayed it with a mixture I keep in my Stampin’ Spritzer at the ready, which consists of 70% Isopropyl alcohol and a large dollop of the Shimmer Paint.  Then I ran it through my die-cutting machine using the Subtles Embossing Folder.

I cut a piece of 2″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper for each card, and flagged it at the ends with the Triple Banner Punch, and adhered it to the top layer of my card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves/stems of the flowers and attached the bottom stem to the bottom of my flowers.  I used some scrap Thick Whisper White Cardstock for the White cutout piece of the flower.    For the inside of the flowers, I traced the outline of the white flower with a pencil and cut it away with my Paper Snips, then adhered to the Whisper White piece of the lily flowers with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then laid my flowers on my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Once I had all my flowers in place, I tucked a couple of extra leaves around the flowers.  I sprinkled some Woven Threads SequinsAssortment using my Liquid Multipurpose Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday Greetings Stamp Set using Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock which I cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I forgot to take a picture, but I also added one of the flowers to the inside of my cards.
