Celebrate Sunflowers

This card has lots of texture, and I love how it turned out.  I stamped the sunflower (large and small) on a piece of Whisper White Cardstocks using Sahara Sand Classic Ink twice.  I cut them both out with the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.  I used one of the layers for each size and cut in between each of the petals, and removed a couple that were too close together.  I stacked them together with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the flower centers, I used some Early Espresso Cardstock and used my  Take Your Pick Tool to make the holes a little bit bigger.  I used my Clear Wink of Stella with some Early Espresso Classic Ink to add some color around the flower centers. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create my window.

For the little stems, I added some Old Olive Classic Ink with my Sponge Daubers, ensuring I added extra color to create variegation.   The larger leaves were stamped in Garden Green Classic Ink and sponged with Old Olive Classic Ink to create some dimension.

I sprinkled a few Basic Rhinestones on the card front.  As you know, I like to carry on the theme of my card to the inside and my envies (which I always forget to capture in my photos).
