Celebrate Sunflowers
A super simple project for you today using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle, Ornate Borders Dies and Plaid Tidings 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut another piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 4″ X 4-1/2″. I cut a piece of the Plaid Tidings DSP at 4″ X 2″. I used the Ornate Borders Dies to trim out the 4″ side of the Whisper White cardstock layer, then adhered it to the Plaid Tidings DSP using my Seal+ Adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Flowers Stamp Set, however as you can see from the photo, I didn’t get it so straight, lol, so I stamped it “again” on a 3/4″ X 2-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, then adhered it as shown in the photo with some Seal+ Adhesive. I tied a bow on the top of my panel with some Linen Thread. I added the layer to my Thick Whisper White cardstock base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the small sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set with Early Espresso Classic ink then die-cut it with the coordinating Sunflower Dies. I colored in my image with Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I used some Old Olive cardstock to cut out the leaves from the Sunflower Dies and sponged them a bit with some Old Olive Classic ink. I adhered the die-cut piece sunflower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the long leaves with some Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I sprinkled some Artisan Adhesive-Backed Sequins and called this project done!
