Super simple masculine cards

Super simple cards and not easy for me, so when I received a challenge to create a masculine super simple card, I thought “oh my”, lol.  Here is what I came up with for not only super simple but also a way to use up some of my card scraps.

Stampin’ Trimmer

I used my Paper Trimmer to create lots of different strips of sizes and colors.  I used Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Mint Macaron Cardstocks.  Did you notice these are the colors used in the Gilded Autumn Special Designer Series Paper?  So no guessing, because I know it works.

Best Year

I used the Best Year Stamp Set with Cajun Craze Classic Ink for my greeting.  When I looked at my projects I thought they were missing something (part of why I find it so hard to create super simple cards).  🙂  That’s when I decided to use the cute little banner in the Stitched Triangle Dies and some Gold Foil Sheets, which I die cut with the NEW Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  I added the banner with some Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for just a touch of pop.  No bling, but I’m ok with it on these projects.
