His Love
A dear friend, and pastor that married hubby and Me, passed away last month. We were just heartbroken. I created this sympathy card for his family. I used the His Love Stamp Set and the new Potted Succulents Dies for this project.
Potted Succulents
I created a window for my card by first cutting out an oval from the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White cardstock center of my panel. Next, I took a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock and the large die from the Potted Succulents Dies and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered the die-cut piece and trimmed it to fit inside the oval window with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Itty Bitty Greetings
I stamped the hand image from the His Love Stamp Set, and the greeting from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set on a piece of scrap Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I used my Ivory, and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends to color in my hands. I used my Paper Snips to cut out the hands. I used the Classic Label Punch to cut out the sentiment. I added the sentiment and hand image with my Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used some Highland Heather cardstock on the back of the open window on this particular project. I added some Wink of Stella to the Highland Heather cardstock before I added it to my panel. I think I like the clean look of the Basic White one over this one, what about you, which one do you prefer?
