Sturdy & Reusable Chipboard Calendar

Sturdy Chipboard Calendar

My friends over at Splitcoastampers signed me up to present a project today and as it worked out I wanted to create a really nicer and sturdy calendar that I could use year after year by simply replacing the calendar sheets and that’s just what I did.  I used scrap chipboard pieces, but quite frankly you could use cardboard, cereal boxes, anything to make a sturdy calendar.

I believe you are going to love creating this project for a “sturdy” and “reuseable”  mini desktop calendar holder.  Next year, just stamp out new calendar sheets or order a calendar refill.  I used the Days to Remember Stamp Set to create my own 2022 calendar pages.  It was super easy to align using my Stamparatus.  It’s a perpetual calendar you can use for a lifetime of calendars!!!

The calendar size I created has a small footprint, 3 1/2″ X 4-1/4″, by 2″ wide.  I didn’t want it taking up too much of my precious work surface space (I need all I can get).  You can however make the calendar a lot larger, with lots more embellishments, etc.  Make it your own!

The binder rings I used on this photo is 1″, which are way to big for my calendar, I have ordered smaller binder rings, at 3/8″ and 3/4″, I will update my photo with them once they come in.  Another idea to use to use a Spiral Ring machine, I use a Cinch Binding Machine and plan to use it it for the calendars I create as gifts for my friends.  I will also share a photo of that completed project once my spiral rings come in as well.

I know you’re thinking why didn’t she do that before putting out this post/video.  Well, I wanted to get this in your hot little hands in case you also wanted to created some last minute gifts or New Year’s gifts for family and friends.
