2nd Annual Luv2stampinGeorgia Retreat 2011

Well hello my lovelies!

Seems like forever since I have posted.  Let me just say our 2nd Annual Luv2stampinGeorgia was a success, but it whooped my tail!!

I want to share a few pics with you over the next several days.  Each of our team members presented their special project to our team, along with some special items I made for them to try out as well.

I also am editing a video of them all doing a bit of their presentation and some other fun antics….stay tuned!  O.K., let's get started!

Retreat Kitchen
Of course we start our retreat on Friday, August 26th at 6pm in the kitchen!  Gotta eat first and get that energy level up!

Retreat Kitchen 2
Shelly and Jenny in the kitchen putting food up, etc.

Retreat Kitchen 3
We had a contest on who could bring the most unique piece of "fruit", and as you can see Shelly won hands down!  Isn't this adorable?!!  Last year we "dressed up bananas", then made some banana splits, this year we made a fruit salad, yummo!

Retreat Rhonda Crown
Here is Rhonda Nelson who came in Number 1 for the year 2010/2011….wohoo…..I gave her the fabulous crown she is wearing.  Looked great on her…. 🙂

We had 2 "princesses"  Sheila and Jenny, however I missed getting a picture of them.  I will need to make sure someone sends me their picture so I can post later.

  Retreat 1
This is one of the projects I shared with the girls.  Thank you Jackie Topa for sharing how to make this lovely basket  by using our new "blossom box die".  This was my sample, the picture above shows the one Rhonda made, cute right?

Retreat 2
Here is a close up of the punch flower in front.  Notice that yummy paper from our new Holiday Mini – Holly Berry Bouquet.

Retreat 3

I also presented how to make these cute little butterfly easel cards.  So easy peasy with our Stampin' Up Butterflies die.  Also, noticed the cut box to keep your love notes in, it's the "Stampin' Up Fancy Favor Box", goes to gether very easily, and only 2 pieces of sticky strip needed!

Retreat 5
Close up of the card and box.  I love, love, love these little note cards, and they fit perfectly in our 3X3 envies.

I'll be back soon with more fun pics!  Until later…..

Remember to hug the ones you love!

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
