Hello lovelies! I have a masculine share for you. I used our fabulous new stamp set called Guy Greetings (page 41 of the Occasions Catalog). Good grief, have you looked at it yet? It has a "ton" of greetings, and names like Grandpa, Brother, Dad, Husband, Uncle, I mean really, just about all you need for a masculine card! Take a gander here:
Went outside to take the pic, so not the best idea, I know, but I wanted natural light, and buddy boy it was sunny! Yay!
Isn't it amazing what a little bling, bling (Champagne Glimmer Paper) will do for a card? Even though it's masculine, it doesn't look overdone, just fun.
Here is a side view of the card, although it's a light color (Crumb Cake) base, I always like to add another layer inside for smooth easy writing!
As you can see here I "fussy cut" the anchors, to give the card a little Pop. Hmmm, maybe that's too close, you can see some jagged edges (gasp!).
I also used the "Perpetual Calendar stamp set", one of my newest go to stamps because of all the neat cute backgrounds from star bursts like above to leaves, Snowflakes, stars, etc. You didn't notice it? Well check it out on page 17 of the Occasions Catalog. It's good until 6/2/15.
My grandson had a little accident several weeks back and he is totally into "The Wimpy Kid" books so I made him a get well card. We don't have a stamp set I could use, so I hand drew it. Come back tomorrow to take a gander. Thank goodness he's a stick figure because I can't draw, guess that's why I love my stamps!
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow! "
