So as Stampin' Up Demonstrators, we get to "preorder" a few items before they are released to the public (pretty cool, right?). The "Sprinkles of Life" stamp set caught my eye. I love just about anything with a matching punch or die, and this one fit the bill perfectly.
The layout is pretty simple, but tried and true if you ask me. I used one of our gorgeous new 2015-2017 In Colors, appropriately called, Watermelon Wonder. Looks pretty watermonly is that a word? no, I didn't think so, anywho, I digress). I paired it up with some Pool Party and Whisper White cardstock, along with another "new" product, the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper. Well, truth be told, when using Designer Series Paper, it's pretty easy to figure out what colors to use as they are in the DSP and I already know they will go very well together (thanks Stampin' Up)!.
If I use a relatively dark colored piece of cardstock, I like to add a "liner" sheet on the inside for easing writing and reading. And since I had a piece of DSP left over, I added a strip to the bottom of the insides, to bring it all together. What do ya think?
And let me not forget to tell you, this stamp set uses the new punch, called "Tree Builder Punch. You say, what? Tree Builder Punch? Well, yep, it works beautifully on the fabulous ice cream scoops of the Sprinkles stamp set. Can you say love it? Oh yeah baby!
