So my grandson fell in the shower a few weeks back and cut his cheek very badly (required a whole lotta stiches). He was so stinkin' brave, you know he never cried from the time I first saw him in the hospital emergency room, until he was all stitched up and ready to go home with his huge sweet smile. I wanted to cry, but I was brave and didn't. I know right, your thinking, she saw her grandson with a huge open gash on his cheek and didn't cry? Well, nope I didn't. Whew, it was not easy let me tell, that was one nasty cut.
Anywho, I digress, so he is into the "The Wimpy Kid" diaries, and I knew I had to make him a get well card, and wanted him to say how cool Bebe is (that's my nickname for Grandma, Ryan decided that a long time ago), again, I digress, so here is my own, hand drawn version of the Wimpy Kid Diaries card I made him.
Is this not hilarious!? I had a ton of fun making it, even though I can't draw at all, but I did my best, and he was so happy when he opened his card in the mail. I had asked his Daddy (my oldest son) to take a pic, but he forgot, boohoo!
I used our fabulous "Project Life Journaling Pens", they write so smoothly to keep a continuous flow of ink on the very soft and smooth Whisper White cardstock. I just love it, to stamp and write on. The pens are on page 188 of the "Big Catalog". Don't have a catalog. well then just drop me a note and when the new catty comes out here in a few short weeks I will be sure and and send one to you in the mail!
