We had our Stamp Club meeting a couple weeks ago, and I made my fabulous ladies a sweet little goodie bag to take home. I used the Flower Frenzie Bigz L Die (boo, retiring), and our Polka Dot and Chevron Tag a Bag Gift Bags:
I had so much making these, and love how they turned out. It's so easy with the die, as you can run 4-6 sheets at a time on the Bigz die and crank those flowers out. In this case since my pinched nerve is still bothering me, my hubby cranked them for me (he's such a gem).
Here is an ensemble of the few items we made at Stamp Club:
I love how the Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock compliment each other. So bright and cheery looking, don't you think?
Since it's almost Mother's Day ( don't forget, May 10th!), we made this adorable 4 1/4 X 4 1/4" card, again using Crisp Cantaoupe (to keep the theme flowing here and create an ensemble), and our gorgeous Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim on page 43 of the Occasions Catalog. Yummy!
I found this cute "self closing box" online, and recreated it using the Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock and the "Flowerpot Designer Series Paper".
Here is a second one I created with a different piece of DSP:
I used the Ovals Framelits, found on page 231 of the Big Catty to created the scallop on the top of the box. Cut both pieces of cardstock at once, easy peasy!
Next is the small frame, with sweet saying from one of our Photopolymer stamp sets called
It's small and sweet, yet says so much, doesn't it? I added a bit of gold acrylic paint to the frame, just to give it a bit of the vintage look.
Come back and visit me soon, I will be sharing a card a fellow Stampin' Sister made for me a few weeks back, and I just loved it!
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow! "
